The Allen Bradley MPL-B420P-SJ22AA is a high-performance servo motor designed for demanding motion control applications. Part of the MP Series within the Kinetix lineup, this permanent magnet rotary motor features a low inertia design, making it well-suited for precise, rapid acceleration and deceleration. It operates on 480 VAC and comes in a compact 115 mm frame with a 2-inch stack length, providing a balance of power and size. The motor can reach speeds up to 5000 RPM and includes a single-turn high-resolution encoder for accurate position feedback. Its shaft is equipped with a key and does not have a seal, while the electrical connection is handled through a bayonet connector configured at a right angle, which is rotatable up to 180°.
