The Allen Bradley 509-BOD-9 is a non-reversing starter designed for Bulletin 509 applications. This NEMA Size 1, open-type starter operates on 110 VAC at 50 Hz or 115-120 VAC at 60 Hz, making it suitable for various power setups. It features a eutectic alloy overload relay, which helps protect motors from overheating by responding to overcurrent conditions. Additionally, it includes one normally open auxiliary contact specifically intended for use with the eutectic overload relay.
