The VPL Low Inertia Motor, featuring a 480 Volt AC supply and a 130 mm bolt circle frame size, is designed for high-performance applications requiring precise control and rapid acceleration. This motor includes four magnet stacks, an E-type winding, and is rated for speeds up to 3500 RPM. It’s equipped with an 18-bit single-turn digital high-resolution encoder and a SpeedTec right-angle DIN connector for seamless integration, though it does not include a holding brake. Distributed by BSP Automation, this motor is part of a versatile lineup that offers smooth, integrated motion control over EtherNet/IP networks. Ideal for use with servo drives like the Kinetix 5500 and 5700 series, it delivers excellent dynamic response and continuous operation capabilities suitable for a range of industrial automation tasks.
