The Allen Bradley MPL-B860D-MJ74AA is a precision servo motor designed for high-performance motion control applications. This Kinetix series motor features a low inertia design, making it well-suited for rapid acceleration and deceleration in demanding industrial environments. Operating at 400V, it has a frame size of 265 mm with a 152.4 mm magnet stack length, enabling it to deliver smooth and efficient torque at speeds up to 2000 RPM. Equipped with a 1024 pulse per revolution Sin/Cos absolute multi-turn encoder (Hiperface type), the motor provides accurate position feedback essential for precise motion control. The shaft includes a keyway but no shaft seal, and electrical connections are made via a circular SpeedTec (DIN) connector. Additionally, a 24V DC holding brake is integrated to maintain position when the motor is powered down.
